Fees and financial support
Aylesbury Music Centre is part of Buckinghamshire Music Trust. Here are the fees currently published for Music Centre membership, tuition and instrument hire.

Help with fees
We want every young person to have the opportunity to make music. The following reductions are currently available:
- Students eligible for Free School Meals: 50% reduction
- Eligible families with household income not greater than £25,600 including benefits: 50% BMT Support Subsidy
- Second child: 20% reduction
- Third child: 40% reduction
- Each subsequent child: 60% reduction

Instrumental and vocal tuition
Tuition is offered on all instruments and voice, subject to tutor availability. BMT provides 33 lessons per academic year and charges termly in advance.

Small-group tuition is generally available up to Grade 2; large-group tuition is generally available up to Grade 1. Group places depend on pupils of a suitable instrument and level being available.
Music Centre membership
£90 per term
Membership gives access to all eligible ensembles across BMT Music Centres, including Hi-Gain, songwriting and music-production activities. Members also receive the published member rate for individual tuition.
Instrument hire
£30 per term
Instrument loans are subject to availability. Priority is given to BMT Music Centre members.
Billing and notice
Fees are invoiced termly. Tuition and membership continue on a rolling basis until written notice is accepted in accordance with the terms and conditions.
Notice deadlines change during the year. Please contact aylmusic@bucksmusic.org for the current confirmed deadline before cancelling.
